The NVIDIA® Jetson™ SerDes Sensor Interface card is an add-on for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin™ and AGX Xavier™ Developer Kits. The card supports both Texas Instruments FPD-Link™ III and Analog Devices (former Maxim Integrated) GMSL2 deserializers. Connect multiple tethered sensors to the powerful NVIDIA Jetson embedded platform. A direct MIPI CSI-2 connection allows you to interface sensors directly to the Jetson Developer Kit. Use with camera modules from D3 Engineering. Use this kit for benchtop evaluation and rapid prototyping. Learn more about product development with D3.

Get to market fast with D3 Engineering Product Development Services
Purchase of a DesignCore® kit gives you a license to evaluate the technology and use it as a platform for product development. Our Design Services team can help, using DesignCore platforms as reference designs for your product development, to reduce risk and accelerate time to market.
We can also help you integrate a DesignCore design directly into your product for a license fee. Finally we can supply part or all of your final system as original device manufacturer (ODM) products. DesignCore kits can be used to evaluate these ODM products.
Q: Does the SerDes Interface Card directly interface with the Jetson AGX Xavier Developer Kit and AGX Orin Developer Kit?
A: The camera connector that is on the Jetson Xavier and Orin Developer Kits is the same that is also on the TX2 Developer Kit (which this product was originally designed for) so from a pinout and functionality standpoint, yes. Since the Jetson Xavier/Orin Developer Kits were produced after D3 made the SerDes Interface Card, the board hangs off the edge of the developer kit and is best used for desktop prototyping.
Q: What software and source code is provided with the SerDes Interface Card?
A: D3 provides the driver source code and a simple capture/display demo for supported camera modules. See “supported sensors.”
