The MathWorks
The MathWorks is the leading developer and supplier of software for technical computing and Model-Based Design for engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and researchers. Their two core products are MATLAB®, used for performing mathematical calculations, analyzing and visualizing data, and writing new software programs; and Simulink®, used for modeling and simulating complex dynamic systems, such as a vehicle's automatic transmission system. They also produce more than 80 additional tools for specialized tasks such as processing images and signals.
D3 Engineering is a MathWorks Partner and a member of The MathWorks System Integrator Program. System integrators are accepted in the program based on experience, industry/application knowledge, and proven ability to address clients' needs. Specific requirements include:
- Proof of successful project implementations using MathWorks products, including client references covering technical and business aspects
- Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing technical support to clients
- Technical expertise in MathWorks products
- Specific activities and proven project abilities in the areas of Test & Measurement and/or Real-Time Systems
- Maintenance of MathWorks product licenses
MATLAB® / Simulink®
D3 can port MATLAB and Simulink algorithms to real-time DSP hardware (both custom and off-the-shelf). D3 works with customers to integrate MATLAB algorithms into real-time systems, or convert and optimize the algorithm to a Texas Instruments DSP. All of these solutions are designed with the performance, price, and reliability required for the project.
